Philosophy: Design doesn't have to be complicated to be good. Sometimes people really do think more is better in design, but I get back to basics: typography, line, shape, color and especially space. I like my designs to have plenty of breathing room - I tend to ignore things that overwhelm my eyes and make me tired just looking at them. The most important thing to keep in mind about design is that it is supposed to deliver a message, if the message is lost in the design, form has overtaken function.
